The Midlife Reset Isn’t a Comeback — It’s a Rebuild
I first felt like I needed a reset after having kids.
My daughters are 20 months apart.
My first was born two weeks before the world shut down for COVID.
And somewhere in that stretch of time…
I lost a piece of myself.
This isn’t about going back.
It’s about building forward.
When You Don’t Feel Like Yourself Anymore
I was deep in motherhood.
Which is beautiful.
But also overwhelming.
And if you’ve been there, you know this feeling:
You love your kids more than anything…
But you don’t fully recognize yourself anymore.
I had gained weight during pregnancy.
I lost some while breastfeeding.
Then gained it back.
And more than anything…
I felt stuck.
The Version of Me I Wanted Back
I didn’t want perfection.
I wanted to feel strong again.
Healthy again.
Confident again.
For myself.
But also for my daughters.
Because I want them to grow up seeing:
- A mom who moves her body
- A mom who eats well
- A mom who takes care of herself
Not perfectly.
But consistently.
What I Thought a “Reset” Meant
I thought it would be simple.
Work out more.
Eat a little better.
Lose the weight.
And just like that…
I’d be back to who I used to be.
But That’s Not How This Works
Because life changed.
I’m busier.
There’s more stress.
More responsibility.
More people depending on me.
And that old “all or nothing” cycle?
It kept me stuck.
Start strong.
Push hard.
Burn out.
Stop completely.
Repeat.
The Truth I Had to Accept
I didn’t need a quick fix.
I needed a new way of living.
Because this isn’t about going back.
It’s about moving forward.

Join the VIP Drop ListWhat I’m Building Now
Now, everything looks different.
I focus on strength over appearance.
Consistency over intensity.
Routines over motivation.
I’m not chasing the fastest results anymore.
I’m building something that actually lasts.
I’m not trying to be who I used to be.
And I’m definitely not trying to be someone else.
Not a model.
Not an influencer.
Not the person I compare myself to at the gym.
I’m focused on one thing:
Becoming a better version of myself.
A little stronger.
A little healthier.
A little more consistent.
Every day.
This Is the Rebuild
This version of me is more grounded.
More realistic.
More sustainable.
And honestly?
Stronger than I’ve ever been.
Because this time…
I’m not starting over.
I’m building forward.
Train Like a Grown-Up
